"I believe the human body is designed for perfection. It should give its owner a century of trouble-free performance. Spinal subluxations are a major source of interference, and this practice exists to eliminate them."

Dr. Meagan Svec

At Parker she worked with many amazing doctors where she learned her skills in adjusting humans and animals. She also has knowledge in orthopedics, neurology, radiology, and rehabilitation. Before Chiropractic school, she graduated from Tarleton State University in 2013 with her Bachelor’s in Animal Science with an Equine Emphasis. She performs diversified, drop table, and activator adjustments. She also performs a soft tissue technique known as Guasha.

Dr. Meagan is very passionate in what she does and believes in the body’s ability to heal itself. “An adjustment is the best thing for allowing the body to do what it needs to do in the most natural way possible”, she says, “Symptoms are the last thing that come up when there is a mis-alignment in the spine. It’s taking care of the underlying problem where relief is found and that’s what I am all about! I will do whatever it takes to help others obtain their health and happiness.”

Dr. Meagan has been around horses all her life competing in cutting, ranch sorting, and team penning. She was first introduced to the chiropractic practice when the stud horse she competed on in the high school rodeo cuttings stopped responding to hock and stifle injections. She took him to an equine chiropractor which changed her life forever. “His performance after just one adjustment was phenomenal. It was like he was 3 years old again. I could see and feel the change in him when I competed. Weekend after weekend we won the series buckle. This is when I knew that this is what I wanted to do for my career”.  Besides riding horses, she also enjoys fishing and hunting.
Dr. Meagan loves working with all patients including the four-legged ones! She is advanced in working with pregnant women and babies as well. She is always wanting to better herself by staying up to date with new information and techniques.
